The easiest way is still to fly from Paris, which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the airport, all means of transport are nearby, especially the tramway that takes you to the city center.
The journey is by TGV from Gare de Lyon to Nice Ville. From Nice station, all transport links are nearby. Allow 30 minutes for the journey from the station to the Welcome Hotel. It is also possible to take a connection from Nice Ville station to Villefranche-sur-Mer station, which takes about 5 minutes.
