The Aquarium also conducts an energy sobriety approach integrated into its CSR policy. Among the actions implemented: optimization of lighting, precise regulation of basin temperatures, and reduction of superfluous uses. Since its opening in 2006, electricity consumption has been reduced by 40% in power demand, and even by 60% compared to the forecasts established during the 2003 reconstruction project.
