Less than an hour from Paris, Aux Vieux Remparts is located in the heart of the Medieval City of Provins, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A charming hotel with old stones, just a stone's throw from the ramparts, with: → 50 rooms → 9 air-conditioned rooms that can accommodate up to 350 people with professional equipment (Our largest room can accommodate between 100 and 120 people in theater style) → SPA including Sauna with Himalayan Salt Wall, Hammam and Jacuzzi → 2 Restaurants with terrace → Lounge Bar for your evenings (private hire possible)
Many monuments can be visited in Provins: the César Tower, the Museum of Provins and the Provinois region, as well as the ramparts, which are free to access.
The town of Provins offers festivals and events throughout the year, for all tastes, for young and old, which are worth a visit. The medieval festival of Provins is very famous and is held every year in June: it offers a return to the Middle Ages, thanks to the stalls, historical reconstructions and numerous activities that will delight young and old. For a weekend, Provins hosts the largest medieval festival in the country. 1 hour from Paris by train, Provins is easily accessible from Gare de l'Est (the Navigo pass works). From the station, you can reach the hotel on foot or by shuttle (to be organised in advance). For car access, we have a private car park with 45 spaces.
