Ideally located in a quiet street in the city center, this 3-star hotel allows you to discover some of the city's monuments on foot, such as the Saint-Jean cathedral, which you can reach in a 9-minute walk. You can reach the hotel in 15 minutes by bus from Besançon train station and in 40 minutes by taxi from Dole-Jura airport. OUR ROOMS Push open the door of one of the 41 rooms in our hotel near the citadel of Besançon and fall under the charm of their contemporary decoration, different for each one. Our rooms are divided into four categories: Standard, Classic, Comfort and Superior. All rooms are air-conditioned (except rooms 1 and 2) and have free high-speed Internet access and a flat-screen television. The bathrooms are equipped with showers. In the superior rooms, you will enjoy a minibar with two free drinks (soda and fruit juice). In addition, we have 2 spacious rooms specially equipped for people with reduced mobility. BREAKFAST AND RESTAURANT Start your day by building up your strength at breakfast. It is served in the dining room of our hotel, from 7am. Copious and varied, it consists of various types of breads and pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, dairy products, cold cuts, cheeses and hot drinks. Restaurants offering French cuisine open their doors nearby. OUR STAFF The team of our hotel near the Saint-Jean cathedral welcomes you in French or English and will settle you in your room as quickly as possible. Check-in is open from 3pm and you must leave your accommodation by 12pm at the latest. Do not hesitate to ask the staff for any requests. THE BEST WESTERN CITADELLE BESANÇON, A PLACE OF QUIETUDE Recharge your batteries during your stay in our hotel near the city center of Besançon! You will appreciate arriving quickly at our establishment from the train station or the airport, and being able to easily park your vehicle in the inner courtyard. The elegance of its decoration will not leave you indifferent: from the vaulted breakfast room, which is our pride, to the charming setting of your room, everything will contribute to making you feel good. The team will be happy to help you plan your visits in the surrounding area. We accept animals with a supplement of 7€ per animal. Our ground floor rooms are anti-allergy and have tiles instead of carpet. These rooms are dedicated to guests accompanied by their pet. The arrival of a guest with an animal without prior mention to the reservation will result in a supplement of 30€ for the complete cleaning of the carpet of the room. Our parking is accessible only on reservation, and for a cost of 10 Euros per day and per vehicle. We also have an electric charging station with a supplement of 20 Euros per day, including charging.
