General Description
In a family-friendly, natural atmosphere steeped in history, take the time to enjoy, eat well, relax and celebrate in an exceptional setting, in the middle of the countryside between Toulouse and Bordeaux. Château Barayre was built in the 12th century and has welcomed prestigious guests. In 1204, Pope Clement V even spent a few days in Barayre.
The Château, surrounded by 3 hectares of gardens, is the perfect place to escape the urban bustle. It includes a renovated old barn of 250 m², ideal for hosting all types of receptions, as well as 2 gîtes offering 26 beds. You will also find a swimming pool, terraces and an orchard. This exceptional environment will allow you to organize an unforgettable seminar.
This region is a haven of peace, with its medieval towns and sunflower fields. We are surrounded by numerous castles and fortified towns, such as Monflanquin (8 km), Monpazier (10 km), Issegeac (15 km), as well as the Château de Biron which dominates the surroundings. These small villages in the region are among the "Most Beautiful Villages in France".
Activities are available on site such as team-building, cooking classes, personal development workshops, yoga, outdoor adventure trails, wine tasting, horseback riding, etc.
