Château de Montchat
General Description
The Château de Monchat offers the rental of its lounges, rooms and greenhouse for all types of professional events, study days or corporate evenings. With a wooded park of 3400 m², populated by squirrels, it is also perfect for organizing team building activities with the help of our specialized partners.
This estate has a rich history dating back to the 16th century, having notably hosted Queen Christina of Sweden and benefited from a restoration by the illustrious architect Viollet-le-Duc. It was only in 1993 that it was transformed into a space dedicated to meetings, thus becoming the only castle in the heart of Lyon to offer a prestigious setting for your events.
Located just 15 minutes from Lyon Part-Dieu train station, the Château de Montchat has been renovated to be fully accessible to people with reduced mobility (PRM), making it an ideal place for room rentals, organizing trade shows and hosting seminars in Lyon.
