It stands like a beacon on the banks of the Saône, clearly visible to boaters navigating there, as well as motorists traveling on nearby roads, or even cycling tourists pedaling on the Blue Route Moselle-Saône by bike.

Between the Côte Chalonnaise and the Roche de Solutré, the slopes of the Mâconnais are bordered by the Saône and the Grosne and extend over nearly 40 km. They offer a succession of wooded peaks and small valleys that are perfectly suited to vine growing. It is the largest white wine production area in Burgundy...located at the foot of our City.
