La Closerie de Chambord
General Description
La Closerie de Chambord is a 17th-century coaching inn, fully renovated on the banks of the Loire at Port de Chambord. The Auberge de la Salamandre and its outbuildings are the setting for this historic site.
The common areas are spacious (seminar room and dining room) and the individual areas are composed of small independent apartments for the autonomy of each person. A 7-seater jacuzzi accessible all year round and a heated swimming pool in season enhance this historic place.
A free treasure hunt is available to discover the historic village and the 17th-century post house as a team. The location is ideal for cycling or walking along the Loire or in the Chambord National Estate. Private guided tours, wine tastings or relaxation massages can be offered on request.
Nighttime festive activities that could cause noise disturbances to the neighborhood are prohibited.
