Le Moulin de la Fortie
General Description
Le Moulin de la Fortie: an atypical place with character in a natural setting. dating from the 18th century, the Moulin has been completely restored into gîtes and a guest house since 2006. It was initially intended to create flour, then it was used by its owners as a knife assembly workshop, today it is a place steeped in history that hosts various events.
A warm, friendly and inspiring atmosphere for a human-sized event. The cherry room offers a view of the surrounding nature. A playground (petanque, table tennis, table football) allows you to have fun after a good day's work.
Hiking trails start from the Moulin, allowing you to stretch your legs. Visit artisans and producers such as the Cité de l'Abeille or Les Sens en Herbe in Viscomtat, and all the cutlery heritage of Thiers.
