The apartment is located in the historic building of the former Printemps department store, which was long the largest store in downtown Poitiers. Ravaged by a fire in 1961, it was completely rebuilt by architect Joseph Grimm in 1965 to house Le Printemps de Paris. Completely renovated in 2015, the "Le Printemps" building is more than ever one of the most prominent buildings in the Poitiers area, with high-end amenities and a unique view of the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville.
