Pavillon Armenonville

Formerly an 18th-century hunting lodge, this historic site was built by the Count of Armenonville, then minister to Louis XIV and in charge of the royal hunt. In the 19th century, the Pavillon d'Armenonville was destroyed and then rebuilt identically by Gabriel Davioud, a famous collaborator of Baron Haussmann and chief architect in charge of promenades and plantations under Napoleon III. This space was then converted into a restaurant to welcome riders and crews traveling through the woods. Finally, in the 20th century, it became an airy and modern reception area, thanks to an architecture that is both preserved and redesigned, to welcome all types of events in a new, warm and nature-friendly atmosphere.
