La Sucrière

An emblematic location in the Docks, in the heart of the Lyon Confluence district, La Sucrière is an industrial building from the 1930s, completely renovated in 2011. This place steeped in history demonstrates that it is possible to preserve an industrial heritage and give it a new purpose: culture and events. La Sucrière was designed to simultaneously host artistic exhibitions of national and international renown, professional events and public fairs, benefiting from the charm of the banks of the Saône and the privatizable banks. The site hosts around fifty events each year and, throughout the year, on the second floor of the building, artistic and cultural exhibitions of national and international renown. La Sucrière is the charm of the banks of the Saône, with the possibility of privatizing the banks and using river shuttles from the city center of Lyon. It is also a box of possibilities: an ideal volume to give free rein to creativity!
