How to organize an eco-responsible event?

Our first advice is to choose a seminar location close to you, to reduce the impact of transport. A place close to your company and your partners.
Choose a place in harmony with its environment and with the identity of your event: ecolodge, ecohotel, mountain chalet...

Pay attention to the official certifications that can guide you in your choice, such as the HQE label (High Environmental Quality), the Ecolabel or the Green Key. The Alfred Meeting team can also recommend places to you.
Finally, if you have to travel, choose a means of collective transport: think of train, bus, or carpooling and limit individual car journeys.

An eco-responsible seminar also happens on your plate! During an eco-friendly seminar, you should favor products from responsible agriculture, whether it is labeled Organic, Nature et Progrès or Demeter.
Whenever possible, local and seasonal products should be consumed. This is preferable to products imported from distant countries by boat or plane.

Your host venue, if sensitive to the ecological issue, will certainly be able to offer you suitable menus. If not, do not hesitate to turn to committed caterers, such as Le Cercle or les Marmites.
Remember to limit plastic bottles during the meeting and use returnable glass bottles or water fountains. You should also limit plastic and cardboard cups by replacing them with glasses or mugs.
