SENSAS Paris

Concept Description: SENSAS is a unique immersive experience that invites participants to rediscover their senses while overcoming their fears, in a fun, collective and supportive environment. For about two hours, teams move through a series of sensory workshops and surprising challenges, often carried out in almost total darkness. With sight deliberately neutralized, participants must rely on their other senses — touch, hearing, smell, taste — but also on communication, cohesion and mutual trust. Each room offers a different challenge: recognizing objects by touch, identifying flavors or smells, taking on physical or mental challenges, facing fears (insects, heights, strangers, etc.) always in a supervised, safe and caring manner. The objective is not individual performance, but collective success. Throughout the course, teams earn amulets, symbols of their progress. These amulets take on a solidarity dimension: at the end of the experience, they are converted into financial donations given to a partner association committed to supporting people with disabilities or vulnerabilities. Thus, each SENSAS session combines entertainment and social commitment. SENSAS is aimed at both individuals and companies. It is an ideal activity for groups of friends, families, birthdays or bachelor/bachelorette parties, but also for team building, strengthening team cohesion, raising awareness of disability and developing essential human skills. Fun, intense and meaningful, SENSAS is more than just a leisure activity: it is a memorable human adventure that leaves a lasting impression on participants, giving them strong emotions while changing their perspective on others... and on themselves.
Activity: The SENSAS experience lasts an average of 2 hours and is lived as a team, generally from 4 to 15 participants, accompanied throughout the journey by a Master of Senses, guarantor of the smooth running, safety, and atmosphere. 1. Welcome and briefing Upon arrival, participants are welcomed by the SENSAS team in a dedicated space. An introductory briefing is provided to present the concept, safety rules, and objectives of the experience. Teams are formed and gradually dive into the SENSAS universe. 2. Immersion and sensory journey Teams then begin a course composed of several thematic rooms. Most of the challenges take place in darkness or in conditions of very reduced visibility, in order to stimulate the other senses. Each room offers a different challenge: tests of touch, taste, smell, hearing, physical or mental challenges, games of cooperation or self-improvement. Participants must communicate, help each other, and show trust to succeed. 3. Guidance by the Master of Senses The Master of Senses guides the team from one challenge to another, explains the instructions, motivates the participants, and ensures a supportive environment. They adapt the pace and intensity of the challenges to the group, so that everyone can participate according to their abilities. 4. Collection of solidarity amulets For each successful challenge, the team wins amulets. These amulets symbolize their progress and collective commitment throughout the experience. 5. Solidarity finale and debriefing At the end of the journey, the collected amulets are counted and converted into a financial donation given to a partner association. The experience concludes with a moment of exchange and debriefing, allowing participants to share their feelings, emotions, and the highlights experienced together. SENSAS thus offers an immersive, fun, and committed experience, mixing emotions, team cohesion, and solidarity.
Specificities: 1. An inclusive and accessible experience for everyone SENSAS does not rely on physical strength or individual performance. The challenges are designed to allow every participant to contribute, regardless of their age, physical condition, or profile. This promotes equitable and rewarding participation for all. 2. A powerful lever for cohesion and communication Visual deprivation and collective challenges force teams to communicate differently, listen to one another, and build trust. Roles balance out naturally and hierarchies fade away, which strengthens cohesion and collaboration. 3. A controlled and supportive step outside the comfort zone Participants are encouraged to push their limits within a completely secure environment, supervised by trained Senses Masters. Stepping out of the comfort zone creates strong emotions and lasting shared memories without putting individuals in difficulty. 4. Concrete awareness of disability and diversity By experiencing challenges without sight, participants playfully encounter certain sensory constraints. This experiential approach fosters empathy, open-mindedness, and a better understanding of differences. 5. A measurable social impact Team performance is translated into amulets converted into donations for a partner association. Team building thus takes on a concrete CSR dimension that is immediately understandable to employees. 6. A turnkey format, adaptable to company objectives SENSAS offers fluid organization, flexible group sizes, and the possibility to focus the debriefing on key themes: communication, trust, leadership, mutual aid, or stress management.
